Creating a building that satisfies a customer means addressing hundreds of issues.  Certainly, doing everything you can to deliver the project on schedule is paramount.  Assuring the highest quality construction is critical.  And listening carefully to each owner in order to establish what needs to be accomplished takes priority.

But when we at Channel remember a project, it’s often some small detail that sticks out in our minds – one significant feature that made that job distinctive.

No doubt there’ll be something special about your building project too. So we thought you might like to hear about a few details which we think tell you more about Channel than anything else we might say.

Smith Motor Sales: Color #295.  Mercedes-Benz is the same in Hamburg as it is in Boston.  So, the hard part of decorating the new Smith Motors Mercedes-Benz auto showroom wasn’t finding the right color but finding out where to put that color, choosing colors that complement it, and deciding how that blue would work in the showroom.  We brought in carpet swatches, tile samples and paint chips.  When Mr. Smith couldn’t decide, Mrs. Smith came to the rescue.  She wanted to use the blue as trim around the building so a darker carpet and polished granite floor tiles cold be used to display the cars.  We worked with both Mr. and Mrs. Smith on everything from the back hallway to the garage.  And by the end of the project, we felt like a member of their family and they definitely are a member of ours.
