Channel Building Company Completes Planet Fitness Club
Major Fit-out project in Wilmington, Massachusetts
Wilmington, MA– June 5, 2008 – Channel Building Company, a leading design-build commercial construction company, today announced the completion of the new Planet Fitness Club at 355 Middlesex Avenue in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
Known as being a ‘judgment-free, non-intimidating atmosphere,” the new 16,000 square foot space, houses over 70 pieces of equipment and includes cardio and strength training areas, tanning booths, locker and shower facilities, massage stations and reception area.
Along with the brightly colored stucco exterior, the building interior features an easily accessible entrance with elevator, exposed high ceiling with painted mechanical and structural systems, and state-of-the art media stations suspended from the ceiling. .
The fitness club project was completed on time to meet the Club’s May 17th opening date.
