Construction Begins at Wellesley College

New maintenance building added to campus

Wilmington, MA– September 9, 2008 –   Channel Building Company, a leading design-build commercial construction company, today announced that they will begin construction of a 1,300 square foot maintenance building on the campus of Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA.

The Varco-Pruden pre-engineered steel building will service all of the college’s security and maintenance vehicles, along with all their powered lawn care and landscaping equipment. The facility will include a built-in power washer and central vacuum system and will be equipped with a daylight harvesting system to reduce energy costs.

The project will start this month and is scheduled to be completed in the Fall 2008.
